Suitable age for a question

 On a recent edition of ITV quiz show Winning Combinations a twenty something contestant was asked which sport did Duncan Goodhew win an Olympic gold medal in. The answer given track and field, the actual answer was swimming. This is an common occurrence in quiz shows where contestants have not been born when something has happened. Though the same can be said for older contestants and recent events.

Goodbye Charlie

 Last night was the final episode to feature Derek Thompson as staff nurse Charlie Fairhead. In the episode Charlie was stabbed by a patient and was left battling for his life. However Charlie pulled through and retired from nursing.

 On the latest edition of Mastermind a contestant was asked which Irish actor played the role of Sonny Crockett in the film version of Miami Vice. The answer given was Colin Foot. The correct answer is Colin Farrell.

Steed is kidnapped by enemy agents who use plastic surgery to make look alike so they can attack a security conference. Ian Ogilvy future star of return of The Return of the Saint.

a series of bizarre murders lead to some one with a murderous  grudge against Steed. With a finale that would not out of place in an episode of the Adam West Barman TV show.

Steed comes back from holiday, but he has no meomary of it. Featuring two actors who go on to play renegade Time Lords in Doctor Who, Roger Delgado the first actor to play The Master and Kate O'Made who played The Rani.

Rebus returns to TV

 Ian Rankin's  dogged cop John Rebus is making a return to TV screens. This series will focus on the character's early days in the police force. He will be played by Richard Rankin (no relation to Ian) in a series that will air in the Spring

Toast is back

 Tonight on GOLD a repeat run of Toast of London. Created by and starring Matt Berry, a luckless actor. His many misfortunes includes appearing in the worst reviewed play in West End history and having a gambling debt to Lord Andrew Lloyd -Webber. Many laughs ahead.
