The first episode of ITV1 drama Stonehouse got 2.5 million viewers compared to 4.3 million viewers Silent Witness got on BBC1. The 2 will clash again tonight.

Starting tonight on ITV1 is Stonehouse. It tells the true story of John Stonehouse, a Labour MP who faked his own death to avoid an number of troubles. Playing Stonehouse is Matthew MacFadyen while playing his wife is Matthew's own wife Keeley Hawes.
