The Lion has been brought

 Famed movie studio MGM has been brought the giant Amazon corporation. The studio output includes the James Bond films. Not included are the rights to such classics as The Wizard of Oz as they are held by Warner Brothers. Many people are interested to see what happens next.

 In a rare dram drama clash Innocent on ITV drew 3.8 million viewers while The Pact on BBC ONE had 3.2 million viewers. Both are on again tonight.

3 annoying things

 1. People phoning you when you are in the bathroom.

2. Appointments at the worst possible time.

3. The door bell rings but when you answer the door no one is there.

 The Brit awards ceremony only gained 2.9 million vi. As I wrote in my piece yesterday pop and rock music has now become a fringe interest.

Brits - who cares?

 The Brit awards are on tonight. But given how music consumption has no changed so much will anyone watch?

 Show business titans And & Dec have been complaining that the media industry is too Londo centric. Have they not seen the exodus of media outfits out of London?

A nation forever

 Marvel Studios have announced a raft of new films. Without a doubt the most keenly awaited is Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The first Black Panther film grossed over a million dollars worldwide. However star Chadwick Boseman died from cancer. Studio heads have made it clear that Boseman's role would not be recast. The new film is due next year.
