This year's Oscars already having to became the first host less in 30 years now have attracted headlines again for the wrong reasons. In an effort to keep the cermonary running on time some awards will not be shown during the telecast. An number of notable figures in cinema including Martin Sorese and Spike Lee have signed a letter decrying the omission of the likes of cinmeatopgrapy and editing are just as impotent to film making as the showier acting categories. Weather the organisers take any not remains to be seen.
