Best of - Doctor Who the 7th Doctor
The 5 best stories of Sylvester McCoy brief but turbulent time in the role. At the end the show would be off air (barring 2 charity specials and the US TV movie) for 16 years.
1. Remembrance of the Daleks
The Doctor and Ace go to 1960s London where they find rival factions of Daleks fighting for a powerful weapon. During filming one exxplosin caused the police to come out thinking it was a terrorist bombing!
2. The Happiness Patrol
There is a planet where being unhappy can cost you your life. The Doctor matches wits with the planet's ruler Helen A and her fearsome henchman The Kandy Man. Sheila Hancock plays the Thatcher inspired Helen A.
3. Ghostlight
In a Victorian house no one seems to be who they are. The Doctor and Ace try to get to the bottom of the mystery. Ghostlight was the last story produced in the original run but not the last shown.
4. Survival
The last story to be shown. The Doctor and Ace investigate some disappearance only to cross paths with one of the Doctor. Rona Munro who wrote the story is the only writer to have worked on both incarnations of the show.
5. The Curse of Fenric
An ancient evil stirs off shore a WWII navel base. And it knows both The Doctor and Ace very well. Guest star Nicholas Parson puts game short host days behind him to play a doubt ridden Vicar.
