The war of what is a strong female role model

A war of words has erupted over current hit Wonder Woman. James Cameron has called the film a step back in depicted a strong female character, he cites the character of Sarah Connor in his own Terminator films as played by his one time wife Linda Hamilton as a better example for women. In response Patty Jenkins has pointed out some flaws in Cameron's argument. Most of these come from the second Terminator film, Jenkins cites that Connor has become a bad mother and has undergone a physical transformation that has striped away most of her female facets. This is one of most interesting conversation between 2 film maker about a film made by one of them ever seen.
