Doctor Deja Vu Who

Tonight on BBC1 an new drama called Trust Me begins. It is the tale of a nurse who finds herself out of a job due to workplace politics. She then takes on the identity of a doctor friend of hers to get a job. Of course trouble rears it's ugly head. The role of the nurse turned doctor is played by Jodie Whittaker who recently made headlines by becoming the first female actor to play The Doctor in Doctor Who. One of Whittaker's predecessors in the role appeared in a film with a simaller premise. In 1990's Paper Mask Paul McGann plays an orderly who takes on the identity of a recently deceased doctor to take up a post at an A&E department. However things start to go wrong and McGann's character is forced to resort to murder to keep up his charade.
