GBBO opening night 2017

After it's much publicised transfer to Channel 4 Great British Bake Off had it's first showing of this year. Overnight viewing figures show 6.5 million viewers tuned in. This is lowest total for the show since 2013 but is by far the biggest show Channel 4 has had this year. Many will watching the figures for the coming years with great interest.
