Is the binge worth it?

Requiem a 6 part chiller starts tonight on BBC1. For those who wish to take in all 6 episodes in the one go can do so as all episodes will be available on BBC I-player as the programme starts. This has been in operation for over a year. One of the first titles to get this treatment was the Peter Kay Sit Com despite this option being available the show posted strong ratings. However another show which had all it's episode released  current end of the World cop show Hard Sun despite being the creation of Luther Neil Cross has seen the embarrassment of being beaten by Through the Keyhole with Keith Lemon. The BBC are obviously responding to the growth of streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. Though this does currently look like the BBC cutting their throats in terms of ratings.
