Sunday night's edition of X-Factor was watched by an audience just below 6 million. In complete contrast David Attenbourgh new BBC1 documentary Blue Planet II was watched by over 10 million viewers. X-Factor's decline will be worrying for ITV bosses with the vital pre Xmas advertising period coming up.
