End of the road for Homer and family?

Is one of TVs currently longest running and successful TV shows coming to an end? Well according to Danny Elfman composer of The Simpsons theme that may be the case. Starting off as a skit on Tracey Ullman's Show the show which detailed the misadventures of Homer, Marge, Bart. Lisa and Maggie became a pop culture sensation even spawning a box office hit movie.
