Newspaper consolidation

The news has broken that Trinity Mirror is in talks to take over Richard Desmond's Northern & Shell group.  Trinity Mirror are the publishers of the Daily Mirror while Northern & Shell count among it titles The Daily Express, The Daily Star and OK!. There has been much speculation of the future of some titles in particular The Daily Star which has dubious record of the lowest selling national  daily newspaper. As always many eyes on how the story develops.
