The comedy about a Jewish family, mum Jackie (Tasmin Greig) dad Martin (Paul Ritter) and forever bickering sons Adam (Simon Bird) and Jonny (Tom Rosenthal) and their chaotic attempts to have traditional dinners not help by weird neighbour Jim played by Mark Heap. These are the 10 best episodes.
1. Mr Morris
Gran has an New boyfriend who is not a very easy going person. As the evening goes from bad to worse the family finds themsleves locked out of the house.
2. Mercedes
It is Adam's birthday and after getting a rather tasteless present from his dad finds his mum can't cook dinner. So the family goes to a Chinese restaurant where they come across an old girl friend of Martin's who always talks about her Mercedes.
3. Mr Morris Return
the troublesome Mr Morris has made up with Grandma. He proposes marriage to her to the horror of Jackie. They then go to the local 10 pin bowling alley where Jim is there dressed in a Dog with his own addition.
4. The New Car
Jonny has been given a promotion at work and with it an new car. But an embarrassing phone call reveal that it may not have legitimate reasons
5. The Anniversary
It is Martin and Jackie's anniversary but Jonny has a couple of secrets. Then Jim turns up having accidentally taken his dog's sleeping pills.
6. Christmas
Grandma and horrible Grandma have come for Xmas. Though the latter has brought their own dinner.
7. The Fox
the boys were discover that their dad has been keeping the body of a dead fox. What then follows is a desperate attempt to stop Jackie discovering it.
8. The Loft
Martin and Jackie are having and the boys try to discover why. Meanwhile Jonny Daley claims to have broken his arm to get out of cleaning the loft.
9. The Funeral
Martin's uncle has died and horrible Grandma wants him to do a reading. But as always things go wrong especially when Jim turns up.
10. The Sofa bed
The first ebutpisode of the show. Martin is giving away a sofa bed but between the boys bickering and the man supposed to take away the sofa bed getting bad news. Things do not go to plan.
