3 reasons why size matters for Jack Reach

Following on from the news that the role of Jack Reacher will be recast with an actor more suited to the towering description in the novels by Lee Child. Here are 3 examples of Reachers build coming to the fore.

One Shot

The novel that formed the basis for the first Tom Cruise features one of the characters most novel ways of dispatching a bad guy. Faced with a foe even larger than him, Reacher bear hugs him to death silting his throat just to make sure. For obvious reasons this scene was not in the film

Persuader

Again Reacher faces off with an enemy just as large as him. This time he has to get to a pair of guns on a wind swept. Reacher uses smarts to get his hands on them and blows the bad guy away in the crashing sea.

Night School

Set during Reacher's days as a MP in which he is on the trail of an US soldier selling the location of missing WMDs in Hamburg. Reacher finds himself messing around with Neo Nazi thumbs. Despite being outnumbered Reacher is the last man standing.
