Jay Hunt who in the position of Chief Creative Officer of Channel 4 was responsible for the poaching of Great British Bakeoff has announced her resignation. This comes before the station's new CEO is announced which had been rumoured to be Hunt herself. Her departure blows the field wide open. The internal goings of Channel 4 are perhaps are now more watchable than most of the station's output.
