 All is not well on the set of ITV programmes Good Morning Before. Lorraine Kelly while presenting Have I Got News For you made a verbal attack on co-boat Richard Madely. For the record in a low opinion of the two people concerned.

The doctor will not see now

 Today sees the screening of the final ever episode of BBC 1 daytime soap Doctor's. She to a combination of budget cuts and calling ratings. The show gave early breaks to such stars as Emila Clarke, Nicholas Hoult and future Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne. And now the surgery is closed.

Timothy West (1934-2024)

 The death has been announced of the actor Timothy West.  West had a long and acclaimed stage career. His cinema credits included The Day of the Jackal. On TV he had a wide range of credits including  a  memorable episode of Tales of the Unexpected titled Royal Jelly.

 Tonight on BBC 1 sees the start of Wolf Hall, the series based on the prize winning novels of Hilary Mantel. The series produced has engaged in a war of words with the producer of the screen version Jilly Cooper's  Rivals. The latter complaing abouts how hard it was to make Rivals during to snobbery. The Wolf Hall Producer saying he would never make anything like Rivals. Point proved?
