 It has been reported that Madonna will direct and co-write a film.based on her life. Joining her to write the script is Diablo  Cody best known for writing teen pregnancy film Juno. Will the film be nothing more than a vanity project is anyone's guess.

TV ratings 13-09-2020

 Singapore Grip the latest period drama by ITV was seen by 2.2 million viewers. That contrasts with the 4.4 million viewers that saw the final episode of Strike: Lethal White on BBC 1.

 A Question of Sport is about to undergo a format change, But there is long list of show that have ended soon afterwards. Here are 3 examples.

Telly Addicts

At first a TV trivia quiz contested between 2 teams of 4. It became a version of snakes and ladders, viewers did not take to it and Telly Addicts was axed

Top of the Pops#

After a botched revamp masterminded by Andi Peters it was moved to BBC2 to become a hybrid of current and classic hits. It barely lasted a year as it ended in 2006.

Film....

After Jonathan Ross left the BBC in some what a cloud. The long running film review show  underwent an number of changes that did not go down with viewers. The show ended a couple of years ago.

Sue leaves a question

 It has been announced that Sue Barker is leaving her role as host of A Question of Sport. She has done it since 1997. The show undergoing a major shake up with both team captains Matt Dawson and Phil Tuffnell leaving as well. An new formal.coming into place but no further information on that.

A million is won

 The first million pound jackpot winner in 14 years has happened on Who Wants to be a millionaire?. Donald Fear won a million pounds by answering a question on pirates. The most impressive part of his win was that he only used only one of his four life lines.
