The death of Frank Brough shows how years of an acclaimed media career can be over shadowed by off screen antics. For nearly 30 years Brough was a stalwart of the BBC even being the first face of breakfast television in the UK when he presented BBC Breakfast Time in 1983. However his career came to crashing halt when stories came out of his drug taking with call girls. A minor come back in the early 1990s was derailed by another scandal and ever afterwards the name of Frank Brough is known more for what he did off screen than what he did on screen.
