Wilder excuse

Detonay Wilder has blamed his defeat in the WBC Heavyweight fight on the heavy fake armour he wore for his ring entrance. By contrast the man who defeated made his being carried on a throne which he sat on. Tyson the winner on more than one front.

TV ratings 23-02-2020

The first of the 2 part finale of the current series of Doctor Who was watched by 3.71 m viewers. by contrast the final episode of the current run of Call the Midwife was  seen by 6.29 viewers.

The Watchdog  is being  put down

The BBC has announced that consumer rights show Watchdog will cease to be a programme in it's own right and will become a segment on The One Show. This means that it is going to back to how it started only it was another light weight news show Nationwide. Presenters included Anne Robinson, Nickey Campbell and husband and wife duo John Stapleton and Lynn Faulds Woods who became known for her abrasive door stepping and demostrations of harmful products. How long Watchdog surrives in it's new guise is anyone's guess.
